About

Storytime

After earning my degree in Architecture in Melbourne, I quickly realized that a traditional path in architecture wasn’t where my true passion lay. My love for the web and gaming world naturally led me to discover UI/UX design in 2022. It felt like a natural fit, blending creativity and logic in a way that was similar to architecture. I started off self-taught, diving deep into resources online, and later took an online course to sharpen my skills.

What made the transition smoother was the creative foundation I had built in architecture—especially my experience with 3D design. Those skills were incredibly transferable, and now I incorporate motion and dynamic elements into my designs whenever it serves a functional purpose or enhances the user experience.

While I tried learning programming, UI/UX came more naturally to me. I’m still working towards becoming a design engineer, constantly learning on the side, because nothing feels more satisfying than being able to both design and build a product, and see the motions I design come to life.
